Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid is a largest volume synthetic surfactant because of its relatively low cost and good performance. LABSA 96% is stable in acidic, alkalic and some oxide solution. As the raw material of detergent, LABSA is used to produce alkylbenzene sulfonic acid sodium (LAS), which has the performances of decontamination, emulsification, dispersion, wetting and foaming property.

Due to its high active matter, miscibility with water and low salt content, LABSA 96% is also used in formulation of industrial & household liquid cleaners as well as in numerous industrial applications as a coupling agent and as an emulsifier for agricultural herbicides and in emulsion polymerization.
